A new parody soiree will be hosted by comedian Eugene Mathews on Saturday February 27 at The Raptor Room, Roeland Street, Cape Town, at 6.30pm.
Jazz singers Nicola Date and Saya Pierce-Jones will regale the audience with stories about lockdown, love and a recent doctor visit in the show called Impromptunes, which will include pre-planned parody songs, classics and improvised tunes. Wesley Wolhuter will be on the keys. Seating is limited due to Covid-19 protocols. Tickets cost R100. Book through Quicket. No under 18s allowed.
