American pianist Mona Golabek will be performing recitals about the life of Lisa Jura, a young refugee from Austria, who left her home and her family on the Kindertransport just before World War II. The concert will take place at the City Hall on Tuesday August 13 at 7.30pm. Golabek will tell the story through words, images and music of Lisa Jura. A portion of the cost of each ticket sponsors one child who cannot afford transport to the City Hall to attend a schools’ performance of The Children of Willesden Lane.
