The Cape Town Concert Series opens the 2018 season with an all-Mozart concert on Saturday January 27, at the Baxter Concert Hall, at 8pm.
The concert features young professionals such as Sally Minter (flute), Joshua Louis (violin), Stephanie Lawrenson (viola), Pearl Jung (cello), Johan Ferreira and Andrea Esau (oboe), Visser Liebenberg and Carla Ferreira (clarinet), Charl van de Merwe and Caron Tremble (bassoon), Shannon Thebus and Sigrid Ceunen (horn), David Bester (violin), organist Erik Dippenaar and VOX Cape Town. The programme includes a variety of music from solo works to ensembles such as the Flute Quartet in D, the Wind Octet in Eb, Andante, K616 for organ, Laudate Dominum and Ave Verum Corpus.
