Mary Harding School in Athlone was one of the beneficiaries of the Sun City to Table Bay Charity Cycle Tour. Organisers handed over R600 000 to charity organisations during the 2 222km journey.
Forty cyclists covered an average of 220 kilometers a day and stopped at 10 towns to raise awareness and funding for charities. The handover for the Cape Town charities was held at the Table Bay Hotel in the Waterfront Thursday March 9.
