Police are hunting four gangsters who gunned down a rival in front of his girlfriend in Tambo Village.
According to Manenberg police spokesman Captain Ian Bennett, the 33-year-old victim and his girlfriend were walking home at 6:40pm on Monday June 22, when four men approached them from the corner of Ray Alexander and Nkosiyabo Mza streets.
The men opened fire, hitting their victim in the left leg. He ran for cover at a nearby house, but the gunmen followed and fired more shots, killing him. They fled, leaving the girlfriend unharmed.
Police say the dead man recently left the same gang his killers belong to for a rival gang.
