A fruit and veg seller was arrested yesterday for alleged drug dealing.

Metro police officers who were on patrol in Belgravia stopped at the stand when they noticed that the man seemed nervous.

They searched him and the stand after he claimed it was his.

They found 38 bankies and half a bag of compressed dagga. The suspect admitted he was selling drugs.

He was detained at the Athlone police station for further investigation.
