Gold Fields Environmental Education Centre will hold a nature’s treasure box art workshop for children aged 6 to 9 years old on Thursday July 20, from 9am to 1pm.
It will be a morning filled with activities including storytelling and an exploratory walk in the garden. Children will create and decorate their special treasure box and fill it with treasures from the garden to take home with them.
The centre will also hold a biodiversity waste art workshop for children aged 10 to 12 on Wednesday July 19, from 9am to 1pm. Children will make and decorate their own stationery holder from household waste.

A four-day holiday programme with many environmental activities will be held at Kenilworth Racecourse Conservation Area from Wednesday July 5 to Saturday July 8, daily from 9am to 2pm. It will be suitable for children aged 8 to 12.
The cost is R20 a child a day. Booking is essential.
