■ Residents marched through Lansdowne on Sunday May 27, to create awareness around Child Protection Week, which started on Sunday and ends on Sunday June 3. The march was hosted by the Lansdowne Ecumenical Ministers Fraternal, and it was a culmination of various activities, such as the wearing of green symbolic lapel ribbons, and the adornment of trees with green ribbons. Topics such as child abuse, child support, bullying and children’s rights were addressed by the faith-based organisations, non-profit organisations and social services departments serving Ward 60.
