Maths whizzes

Pupils at Arcadia Primary School in Bonteheuwel and Silverstream Primary School in Manenberg did well in a recent mathematics competitions. At Arcadia, a team of Grade 6 boys, participated in the Growsmart Mathematics competition, which started at the beginning of the year. They competed against 90 schools and achieved third place in the finals held on Saturday September 9. Silverstream pupils took part in the Western Cape Education Department’s Metro Central mathematics competition, which was held on Saturday August 26 at Portia Primary School.
