■ Thousands of Capetonians came out in force for the annual Tweede Nuwejaar minstrel road march on Monday January 2 held in the Cape Town CBD. Minstrel troupe The Last Tomahawks, from Bonteheuwel, proved popular with the crowds as they danced their way through the streets in their pink and blue outfits.
