Children from four creches joined in the fun for a National Library Week event on Wednesday March 22 at the Nantes Park in Bridgetown. The event, which involved other departments within the City of Cape Town, entertained and educated children from Nantes Educare, Bridges Play Centre, the Marion Institute and Star College. During National Library Week, which ran from Saturday March 18 to Saturday March 25, the City libraries hosted various special programmes for people of all ages, including storytelling, arts and crafts, membership drives, and poetry sessions. This year’s theme was My library, Your library.
