Jemma Kaylyn Jacobs, 4, from Manenberg, rolled down Eisleben Road, in Mitchell’s Plain, during Open Streets on Sunday March 31. The road was temporarily closed for pedestrians and cyclists to reclaim their street as a public space for walking, cycling, skating, playing, exploring and general socialising. Open Streets Cape Town, is a citizen-driven non-profit organisation, with the support of TUMI (Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative), the City of Cape Town, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Nedbank Green Trust, volunteers, residents and friends.
