Lansdowne SAPS needs the public’s help to track down seven suspects wanted for armed robbery – in two separate cases.
In the first case, six men barged into Chimneys Bakery in Wetton on Friday October 7 and robbed the store of

According to Lansdowne SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Nonkululeko Mnyaka, the suspects fled on foot in the direction of Mansfield Road, and hijacked a vehicle from a man who was reversing from his driveway .
“The suspects drove towards Lansdowne railway station. The vehicle was later recovered in Link Road in Crawford.
“The hijack victim, a 65-year-old man, explained that six men came running while he was reversing from his driveway. When he got out to close the gate, two men pointed firearms at him.
“All six got into the car and drove off,” Sergeant Mnyaka said.
Cases of car-jacking and business robbery were opened for investigation.
No shots were fired and there were no injuries. No arrest have been made.
