Affected roads include: Clive Road between Camberwell Road and Lawson Road, St Kilda between Bridge Way and Gordon Road, Sunnyside Road between Kromboom Road and Camberwell Road, Rokeby Road between Kromboom Road and Camberwell Road, Camberwell Road between Sunnyside Road and Rokeby Road, Lawson Road between Clive Road and Riversdale Road, and Alexander Road between Clive Road and St Kilda Road.
Mr Quintas said motorists who need to use these roads are advised to adhere to all temporary road signs in the area.
“As we kick off transport month today, we are proud to be bringing this rehabilitation and maintenance project to the Crawford community. This work is to ensure that we prolong the longevity of the City’s road network, improve road safety conditions and keep Capetonians moving. I would like to thank the public and road users for their patience and support over the next few weeks. Wherever possible, please consider taking alternative routes,” he said.
