The Saartjie Baartman Centre held a silent protest outside their premises in Athlone on Monday June 3 to stand against child abuse as the country marks Child Protection Week. The week-long campaign was launched by the Department of Social Development on Sunday June 2. The initiative, which is in its 22nd year, is observed under the theme of: “Let us Protect All Children to Move South Africa Forward.”Â
