
Ward 48 councillor, Magedien Davids, hosted 400 seniors at the Dulcie September (Athlone) civic centre on Thursday April 4. The seniors were spoiled with a scrumptious lunch, entertainment and each received a gift.

Margaret Forgus, 83, from Crawford, Tina Hofstander, 60, from Crawford, Susan Bowers, 70, from Kewtown, and Apostle Eddie Elias, 68, from Crawford, enjoyed the fellowship.

Thelma Klassen, 62, from Manenebrg, Shamiela Etalla, 54, from Hanover Park, and Mymoena Arend, 65, from Sunnyside enjoyed each others company.

Violet Simons, 93, from Sunnyside, received a bouquet for being the oldest woman in the hall.
