The staff of Belgravia High School acknowledged the top three matriculants at a special gathering on Monday January 15. Yuomna achieved seven distinctions, Thaakira passed with six distinctions and Sheldon with three distinctions. The trio shared some of their wisdom with this year’s Grade 12 pupils. Sheldon said there is no hopeless situation, only “hopeless people”, therefore one must have hope and push forward. Thaakira advised Grade 12 pupils to work hard consistently and attend extra classes, even if you feel confident in the subject. Yuomna concurred about consistent hard work, adding that they must remain calm and do their homework every day.
