A 24-year-old man arrested during a drug bust in Hanover Park on Saturday August 17.
Law enforcement officers, who are attached to the Metal Theft and Stabilization Units, were involved in a joint operation with the South African Police Service (SAPS).
They received a tip-off and followed up.
When they arrived at the house, they conducted an interview with the occupants.
They confiscated 58 mandrax tablets, 57 tik straws and 40g of tik as well as cash to the value of R11 541.
Law enforcement spokesperson, Wayne Dyason, said: “A 24-year-old suspect was arrested by the law enforcement officers and taken to Philippi police station for processing.”
