Philippi police are investigating a case of murder after a 48-year-old man from Hanover Park was shot dead on Saturday September 2 at Princess Court.
The man had been standing in the court when he was approached by an unidentified man who fired multiple shots at him.
Another case of murder was opened after the body of a 28-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds on Monday September 4, at the N2 slipway from Jakes Gerwel Drive, next to the fence.
