Police arrested three men on drug-possession charges in two separate incidents in Hanover Park on Sunday.
Two of the men, aged 26 and 21, were caught with unga and tik at a “well known” drug den in Pelican Court, at 10.30am, according to Philippi police spokesman Captain Lance Goliath.
Then, at 11.50am, officers patrolling near another known drug den in Turflyn Walk arrested a 24-year-old man. He had been found with tik, said Captain Goliath.
“A combined total of 47 units of unga and 40 units of crystal meth with a total estimated street value of R2 600 was confiscated from all three suspects,” he said.
