Christine and The Kilts

Christine and The Kilts will perform their Celtic songs at the Masque Theatre in Muizenberg from Thursday December 27 to Saturday January 5. From Irish jigs and Scottish reels to contemporary Celtic favourites and songs by Robbie Burns, the band boasts a toe-tapping repertoire. Singer Christine Weir of Not the Midnight Mass fame is at the helm of the show, with Duncan Robinson on acoustic guitar, Leon Oosthuizen on traditional Celtic accordion, Skhumbuzo Qamata on percussion, Rayelle Goodman on the fiddle and Matthew Weir on bass and vocals.The show is at 8pm during the week; 2.30pm and 6.30pm on the weekend and at 2.30pm on New Year’s Eve.Tickets cost R135 each or R120 for pensioners.
