Grant Edam will be taking part in Blue Violin. Blue Violin, a new work presented by Dance Theatre Africa (DTA), opens at the Artscape Theatre from Thursday March 28 to Saturday March 30. The show explores the connection between sound and colours through contemporary dance. “We have learnt that sound and colour are related scientifically, as pitch is heard by the ears and light seen by the eyes. Each colour and sound will be joined with interpretive movement, revealing its very nature,” says producer and choreographer Tercia Amsterdam. Performances are on Thursday March 28 and Friday March 29, at 7.30pm; and Saturday March 30 at 3.30pm and 7.30pm. Tickets cost R100 and R150. Book at Computicket or Artscape Dial-a-Seat on 021 421 7695.
