Manenberg residents will get the chance to raise their municipal-related problems and queries tomorrow, Thursday June 13, when the City of Cape Town’s mobile office will be stationed at the Druiwevlei community hall in Ruimte Road from 9.30am until 1pm.
The service, which has been moving around the city over the past year, gives residents the opportunity to log queries and service requests electronically with a customer service team.
The City said the most common queries and service requests relate to water and electricity accounts, stolen or damaged bins, and potholes.
“We are bringing customer service to residents to afford them the opportunity to enquire and solve issues without having to spend time and money on transport. Over the past year our teams have actually established relationships with some residents who look forward to and make use of this service on a regular basis. I encourage all residents to take full advantage of this opportunity to resolve their municipal matters. We aim to have a mobile office in at least one area per day,’”said the City’s mayoral committee member for corporate services, Sharon Cottle.
