Metro police’s K9 unit deployed within the Manenberg policing precinct found a large amount of drugs in Usk road Manenberg on Tuesday January 8.
According to Manenberg police station’s spokesman, Captain Ian Bennett, police discovered the drugs on an open field next to a electricity sub station at about 9.55am.Â
Captain Bennett said that the sniffer patrol dog combed the area and directed police to the drugs. Further inspection found 154 mandrax tablets and 19 units of heroine hidden in the ground.
