Staff at Spes Bona High School gathered at the Capetonian Hotel for a special lunch on Thursday June 29 to bid a fond farewell to three of their colleagues who are leaving. Secretary Vanessa Serenge, and teachers Joleen McLeod and Salathiso Tiya, were honoured at the event.
The Athlone News (formerly the Athlone Shopper) was established in 1986. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Kenilworth Centre and Gatesville Shopping Centre within its distribution area.
