* The Bonteheuwel Walking Ladies hosted 625 people at its annual Mother’s Day event, where guests were entertained, inspired and wowed. During the event, it was also announced that the club’s chairwoman, Soraya Salie, had been chosen as a peace ambassador for the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) to represent Cape Town at the UN in South Korea later this year.
