Two alleged gang members, aged 40 and 33, from Bonteheuwel, have been arrested for the illegal possession of guns and ammunition, say police.
Police were alerted to a shooting in Bonteheuwel, at about 2.30pm, on Thursday August 25, and tipped off about where the shooters were hiding, said Bishop Lavis police spokeswoman Sergeant Samantha Adonis.
The 33-year-old suspect was found in Terblans Road and the 40-year-old in Teak Road.
Police say both men were carrying loaded 9mm pistols.
