Ahmed Moosa, Crawford
It is with a sense of great sadness that I read in today’s Athlone News about the death of Brian Joss.
I have been reading his column for many years, and quite a few times he has assisted me in resolving my issues.
I wish to send my heartfelt condolences to his wife and children and pray that God grants them the strength to bear their loss with patience.
I never met him, but the contact with him through emails and his prompt replies told me that he was a dedicated man and was always ready to assist. On a few occasions, I said that I would like to send a small gift to him as a token of my appreciation, and he always replied that “it’s not necessary, as it is my job”.
I am sure all those he assisted over the years will miss him as I will.
To God we belong and to Him is our return.
